From

Feeling Lost

to

Finding who you are

You’re constantly worried about what other people might be thinking about you.

You’ve been working so hard to fulfill everyone else’s dreams and ideas of who you “should” be, that at this point, you have no idea who you really are.

I get it — You want to get in touch with your true self.

but you’re afraid of what you might find out if you slow down and start to look at what’s really going on inside.

You’re worried that you might not like the woman you find beneath all the masks and layers of defenses and protection.

You’re scared that you’re too broken.

You think you’ll never be good enough.

You’ve started believing all the negative, disheartening, disempowering things people have said about you.

They focus on what you do “wrong.” They don’t appreciate your beauty or strengths — because they’re not interested in it.

They get high off of making you feel low — but still, you take on what they say as Truth, because you love them.

(Why does “love” have to hurt so much?)

If you’ve got really critical people in your life, you may have let them tell you what to do because it didn’t seem like it would be worth the effort to fight for control.

You’ve been hoping people you love and respect could give you the answer to life’s Big Questions.

My Dearest Darling,

Those answers can come only from within you.

You’ve been following the roadmap you were given, doing all the things you’re “supposed to do”…

And sometimes, you’ve gotten really good at following orders.

But somehow, it’s still not working.

Life ranges from blah to mildly infuriating

You’re trying to make everyone else happy, and yet no one ends up happy in the end — including you

It’s hard to take time to figure out what you really want.

You’ve been too busy looking after everyone else…

or else just trying to escape so you can relax for once.

You have this pattern of self-sabotage.

Whenever you get close to achieving something great, you get really scared and mess it up.

You’ve started and quickly stopped a lot of healthy habits.

You remember a time earlier in life when you had fun and felt confident about what you were doing. There’s a deep longing to get back there somehow.

I’ve been there.

I know what it’s like to become a slave to what society defines as “success.”

In the past, I have given up my power to:

  • To Do lists

  • Financial goals

  • Grades and performance reviews

  • The scale / my weight

  • Having “that car”…

  • Living in “that neighborhood”…

  • Dating “that guy”…

I thought if I was “on track” according to other people’s definitions, then I would be happy and accepted.

I denied who I was and tried so hard to be what I was “supposed to be.”

I pushed myself beyond my natural limits — hoping to achieve recognition and “win” the right to relax.

I shoved down my intuition and lived for too long with this uneasy feeling of lying to myself.

The shitty part, as I’m sure you know, is that it never worked. I wasn’t happy.

Even after achieving everything I set out to do, there was still this feeling of emptiness and disgust with it all.

Panic and a desperate desire to escape.

It was suffocating.

And, I’m grateful for it all.

I learned some helpful things:

  • Society’s “roadmap for happiness” leaves a lot out, and in many cases is just plain wrong.

  • Only you can really know who you are and what is best for you.

  • What other people say about you is mostly about them.

  • Until you get curious about what your soul is craving, life will be pretty boring and stressful.

  • Life goes better when you honor your intuition above what anyone else says.

  • The universe wouldn’t put a desire in your heart if you didn’t have the capacity to make it happen.

Things can be different.

If you’re sick of…

  • playing it small

  • worrying about what other people think

  • trying to win approval instead of doing what makes you feel good

Change is possible!

What does the healing process look like?

Together, we can:

  • Review your life

  • Reassess what’s working

  • Realign with your deepest sense of mission

I can be your guide as you journey to explore your heart, your soul, and the deep, infinite wisdom of your body.

This comes with a lot of potential benefits:

  • Wake up with a sense of excitement for the day

  • Get your energy back and feel creative again

  • Know what your priorities are and feel motivated to pursue your goals

  • Let yourself have fun and truly enjoy yourself without guilt

You can learn to disconnect from the critical and controlling people in your life.

You’ve been worried about being your own person and doing your own thing.

(What if that’s “disrespectful”? What if they get “offended”?)

I can help you to speak the words that get caught in your throat when you start worrying about what other people might think.

When we practice what it’s like for you to speak from your authentic self, you will build strength to show up as the Real You in your daily life as well.

You could learn to be a friend to yourself — a big change that would automatically draw your soul tribe to you.

I believe in you.

It is so common for women to worry, “What if deep down, I’m actually a bad person?”

You came here with your curiosity and your heartfelt desire to feel better so that you can share your unique gifts with the world.

These are the actions of a brilliant woman who wants to get even better

The True You is caring, motivated, tender, and wise.

I am confident that we will find inner beauty and true worthiness underneath all the ways you tear yourself down by believing the crappy and untrue things other people have said.

Enjoy the journey to finding yourself.
